Be consistent.&nbsp;Consistency is the key to health. Whether we’re talking about arterial hypertension, obesity, recovery from a bone fracture, or a joint dislocation &hellip; one thing remains crucial: we must stay consistent with therapy, physical activity, and diet. The same applies to your face. The face ages, and in aesthetic medicine, we see aging processes as inevitable pathological changes that we aim to mitigate with safe and scientifically proven methods. And if you’re wondering whether I think aging is a disease, the answer is no. Aging is a privilege. Aging is wisdom. Yet, we all want to feel good and look our best as we age. So, where should you stay consistent?
Apply sunscreen with a high SPF every day.
The evidence is overwhelming, and if this is new information for you, you’ve really been sleeping through the facts. No offense. ? The sun is responsible for 90% of all visible signs of skin aging. Even more importantly, it is a risk factor for developing skin cancer, so roll up your sleeves and take action!
If you’re using make-up, I recommend choosing two SPF products: one that doubles as a primer/base for makeup and another suitable for reapplication throughout the day. Find a cream that suits your skin type&mdash;dry, oily, or combination. It should contain SPF of at least 30 and offer broad-spectrum protection (including protection from IR radiation and high-energy visible blue light). Want to know my favorite SPF products? Skincare at home is essential.
Whether it’s vitamin C, retinol, glycolic acid, a combination of these, or something else, consistent daily application significantly impacts the condition of your skin. This is a topic worth one&mdash;or several&mdash;blog posts, so follow me for more information.

For Successful Resolutions in 2025

Profhilo. My everyday "colleague" at work, an incredibly effective tool for improving skin quality and hydration. Have you tried it yet? At first, I was impressed by how it works, then I witnessed the first results (even on myself), and quickly realized there was much untapped potential in this story. My instinct was right, because now we have an upgrade: the thicker Profhilo to improve facial tension.
? What is Profhilo Structura?
Profhilo Structura is an advanced version of the classic Profhilo. In 2 ml, it contains 90 mg of hyaluronic acid – more than any other product on the market. Both Profhilos contain the same substance, just in different amounts. It is an exceptional pharmacological achievement as they have developed an anti-aging product based entirely on pure hyaluronic acid, without any chemical stabilizers.
✨ How does it work?
Hyaluronic acid in Profhilo:
<ul><li>affects preadipocytes in atrophied fat tissue,</li><li>stimulates natural regeneration processes of surface fat,</li><li>restores lost fat in the tissue.</li></ul>

Welcome, Profhilo Structura!

Today, I found myself reflecting on one of my favorite topics in aesthetic medicine – how to lift the face without surgery. Every day in the clinic feels like a new challenge and an opportunity to find the perfect solution for each patient. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing those subtle changes that restore youthfulness and confidence in a way that looks entirely natural. Our guiding principle – everyone will notice, no one will know – remains at the forefront of my work.
Each patient who walks through the door is unique. I often think about how choosing the right method is crucial and must always be tailored to the individual. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Some patients come in with mild skin laxity, others with volume loss. Certain individuals are ideal candidates for injectable techniques such as HarmoniCA, Radiesse, or Sculptra – the latter, based on poly-L-lactic acid, has incredibly long-lasting effects, often leaving patients amazed. Others respond better to device-based treatments, like Fotona 4D or Pellevé radiofrequency therapy.
I’m especially excited about the upcoming launch of a new version of the renowned Profhilo – Profhilo Structura, which will soon be available at our clinic. We’ll be among the first in Slovenia to offer it. This groundbreaking filler promises even greater skin elasticity and natural fullness. I can’t wait to introduce this innovation to our practice.
However, it’s essential to take the time with each patient – time for discussion, evaluation, and thoughtful planning. Facial lifting procedures are not quick fixes; they require patience and trust. This trust is the foundation for achieving the best results together. A natural look is always our ultimate goal, because there’s nothing more rewarding than hearing a patient say, “Everyone’s telling me I look amazing!”
Of course, I also have to be realistic. Some patients come in too late. When the tissue laxity has progressed too far, I have to gently explain that non-surgical methods may no longer be effective for their needs and that, in such cases, surgery is the only viable solution. These situations are always a bit more sensitive, but I make sure patients understand that there are still options – just different ones. What’s important is that the goal remains the same: a natural, rejuvenated appearance.
Then there’s the frequent question I hear. A patient, sitting in the chair and waiting while I prepare for the procedure, looks at me with a smile and asks, “I won’t end up looking like someone from a Hollywood movie, right?” I smile back and reassure her: “Don’t worry, you’re in good hands here – no ‘over-pulled’ faces, I promise! You’ll look just right – refreshed, like after a good vacation, not like you’ve been through a wind tunnel!”
I ended my day feeling content – knowing that the best compliment is seeing patients walk out with a spring in their step, confident that they’re on the path to becoming the best version of themselves. After all, everyone will notice, but no one will know &hellip; except me, of course. ?

Water. The origin of life. It makes up three quarters of our planet, two thirds of our body. Its share in the skin is no different. Due to high temperatures, strong ultraviolet radiation and wind, the skin is particularly at risk during the summer. Dehydrated skin has a poorly functioning skin barrier and ages even faster.&nbsp;
The best way to effectively, visibly and quickly ensure adequate hydration of the skin during the summer is to influence its deeper layer, where all "production with logistics" takes place. This is the dermis. If we insert suitable substances into it, such as hyaluronic acid and polynucleotides, we have achieved two things: the particles of active ingredients will immediately bind water molecules to themselves, furthermore they will also improve the functioning of small skin "factories", which we call fibroblasts in the weeks to come. The skin itself will therefore be able to take care of the production of active moisturizers in the dermis and epidermis, and will have better options to fight against free radicals caused by exposure to the sun.&nbsp;
Mastelli polynucleotides, which initiate the processes described above, have proven effects that are stated in many scientific studies, but what excites the most are happy patients. Therefore, for all lovers of beautiful and radiant skin, Mastelli Newest, which contains polynucleotides and hyaluronic acid, is a winning therapy for skin care before, during and after summer. To individuals who struggle with hyperpigmentation, I especially recommend Xela Rederm mesotherapy. Succinic acid combined with hyaluronic acid in this product will take care of melanocytes that produce pigment and "calm down" their reaction to the sun. Both Newest and Xela Rederm are applied to the skin with a thin needle. It is a quick and extremely safe procedure. The results are better and more permanent than those with any skin cream on the market.
In a time when new trends are created on social media and due to filters, one thing will never go out of style. Being healthy and having healthy skin. Adequate hydration of the skin is part of this concept, and thanks to science, today we have effective methods available to protect the skin even in the most demanding months.
